This doesn't cover the how-tos of rapid weaning, but might be of interest on the subject - a recent article in Pediatrics (Aug 2013: http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/132/3/e796.full) entitled, "The Transfer of Drugs and Therapeutics Into Human Breast Milk: An Update on Selected Topics" discussed the use of radioactive compounds in breastfeeding women.
