I am trying to find how other hospitals handle fortified human milk. Any info would be helpful. (I do have HMBANA book, etc.)
Some specific questions: 1) how much in advance to you prepare fortified milk (6, 12, 24 hours) 2) Does your facility differentiate if using human - human milk fortifier or bovine human milk fortifier for storage. 3) If mixing several feedings at one time how do you take milk out of container (draw it up / pour into another container)
Any help /guidance will be greatly appreciated.
