It always seemed strange to me that we are considering this a medicine, but we give out hand lotion to mothers who request it? And we don't need to keep hand lotion in the pyxis. I didn't think there was any actual medicine in lanolin cream, it's more like chapstick right? I think it must be there because it's easier to charge for it. Maybe we should put our hydrogel pads in there too, they are more expensive and it would be easier for the hospital to bill for them.
