Hi all ~
Wondering if there's anyone in the vast Lactnet-work who would have a way
to help this Zambian grandmother who is trying to feed now 5-month-old twin
grandchildren after their mother died at 3 days postpartum. From what I can
gather, there is no well-known human-milk-sharing network in her area.
Their grandmother is doing her best, but it doesn't sound as if these
babies can survive too long without more food. See
http://www.times.co.zm/?p=29302 for more about this amazing but sad story.
Sincerely,
Karen Gromada
