Hello Everyone Mike Brady (Baby Milk Action - IBFAN) has started this petition re: A new law is being pushed by Nestlé, Wyeth and their partners, which will drastically weaken legislation introduced in 2007. If Nestlé's law is adopted by Congress, it will allow companies to advertise products, target mothers directly and remove warnings from labels. Even the requirement to translate instructions into Filipino will go. The Philippine's Department of Health, WHO and UNICEF issued a statement on 1 September condemning the proposed law, stating it: "aims to support multinational companies while damaging the Filipino society; families, the mothers and children".
