Hello All,
Thanks for the post Stan. I believe a lot of thought went into the post.

Let me put the neonic/pollinator problem in easy to understand terms.

The tobacco problem (over the last six decades)compares best to the current neonic issues.

For 60 years researchers fought to prove tobacco use caused serious health issues.

For 60 years the tobacco giants fought back.

Why would the giant tobacco not at least admit some health issues (never did) were present with tobacco use?

To admit would open the door to liability claims.

Eventually when the surgeon general got involved things began to change with warnings.
Stopped "Joe Camel" from targeting our kids.

Beekeepers are not going to get the chemical giants to ever admit the systemics as causing problems . Other than misapplication.

Beekeepers have not got 60 years to prove their case.

The point Larry Pender ( California commercial beekeeper) was trying to make on CBS world news.

Its really very simple.

At least to me.
