A mom I am working with, who has a doctorate in genetics, has asked if there are any published studies supporting the use of lecithin for recurrent plugged ducts. She said she couldn't find any when she looked although it seemed to be widely accepted. She also questioned whether, if the mechanism of action is making the milk slightly less viscous, whether it might make her baby's reflux worse? Do any of you wise ones know the answers to these questions?
Thank you very much!
