Dear Pat,
First of all, she is taking a lot of fenugreek. The dosages I have
heard of are 900 mg three times per 24 hours. She is taking this is two
ways, in the Special Blend and then much more on the side. If she has a
borderline low thyroid all this fenugreek can push her thyroid levels
lower. It is also hard on the liver so that is not good for her either.
For this baby, what about Shatavari? Golacta? Homeopathic Lactuca Virosa?
Foods with lots of fiber? Higher dose of domperidone? Saw palmento?
If she having great pumping protocols including some hand expression?
Just some ideas that I have found can help.
For her next baby and now, have her read "Making More Milk" by Lisa
Marasco and Diana West? This really lays out the options of what she
can do.
Good luck!
