A question for all the LC's who work in or with NICUs. What do the units use to warm breast milk? Do you use a warming device that can be monitored or just use warm tap water? If just tap water, how do you make sure that all staff are doing the same thing? Making sure that the milk is not too hot, that the milk doesn't sit too long, etc? We are looking at ensuring that our staff are all doing the same thing when it comes to warming breast milk. Thank you!!!!
