I did my spring search at the end of February, found skunk cabbage blossoms (the first pollen of the season usually), and the witch hazels are blooming around here (southeastern MA). Last night I was very surprised to hear the peepers outside of the gym I teach in. I guess the poor spring peepers have decided they're going to make noise despite the frigid temps we're still 'enjoying'. It has delayed our club package bee order by a week. Hopefully the peepers will be singing strong soon!

Take care,

Ann
