It's all in how the adjective is read, Judy! I meant "Non-licensed
IBCLCs" to indicate IBCLCs who have no license as any kind of healthcare
provider (HCP). You are correct that there is no licensure in the USA
right now, in any state, for IBCLCs. Many IBCLCs do, however, have a
license as another kind of HCP (RN, MD, SLP, OT, etc.)
