Hi All,
A co-worker and I have taken on the task of educating MDs in our area with regards to "allergy" treatment for exclusively breastfed babies. I need help locating *excellent* articles on solutions and reasons for a BF baby to continue with BF even if there is positive lactoferrin in the stool. We have the one on Allergic Protocolitis from the Academy of Breastfed Medicine, which is excellent but may not be enough to change anything.
I tried looking back thru the archive but my search words were not pulling up anything interesting.
We have seen a trend recently of fully BF babies taken off the breast because of an allergy to the milk due to the results of a stool test.
Thanks for your help!
Lisa Paul, IBCLC
