Living in CT near to NYC, I have watched this story on numerous channels and read about it on several different ny news websites. I have yet to see even ONE IBCLC interviewed on this story. Not one. Oh yes, they had an OB/GYN and several mothers both for and against. But I haven't seen any IBCLCs interviewed. I was at work this am (as a hospital based IBCLC in a BF hospital where we routinely store formula in a locked stock room and don't give out formula bags..my stats today? 9 moms, eight of which are breastfeeding EXCLUSIVELY :) Pardon my shameless brag, I digress!) so I didn't see the CBS story on this am. Did they include an IBCLC??
Now that aetna says we're who we are, shouldn't they be talking to us...the experts...about breastfeeding?
Just my .02 worth..
