Looked it up in Hale.  Is L2 - Safer.  Short term (1 week) no problems for BF infant.  May reduce prolactin.  Several good references.  
Ask them for their reasons, documentation that their order has a ref basis.  They can also check NIH site, LACTMED (more ref) and/or ask Tom Hale at Infant Risk Center.
