Pediatrics just released this article earlier last month. "The Transfer of Drugs and Therapeutics Into Human Breast Milk: An Update on Selected Topics" http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/132/3/e796.full#!

The section on Domperidone is under "Galactogogues."

If this mom is going to undergo gastric bypass, she should ask her surgeon about domperidone as well. With domperidone and its possible side effects ("arrhythmia, cardiac arrest, and sudden death associated with intravenous therapy"), I wouldn't recommend it with gastric bypass. Considering that this person is undergoing gastric bypass, I will assume they also might possibly have cardiovascular problems linked to weight issues (maybe low milk supply is due to weight problems as well). Domperidone is known to prolong QT intervals (repolarization and depolarization of the right and left ventricles) of the heart according to Hale which is why there is a possible risk of sudden death.
