ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We have done this without water, but with foam objects in the bucket (less messy). It seems even more impressive if you do plastic cup filled with the items (dense foam or water) on a small tray that is swung around. If you want more you spinning activities you may want to google angular momentum and you should find a bunch of stuff with tops, gyroscopes, spinning bike wheels, etc. Certainly if you've never held a spinning bike wheel and tried to turn it, then you are missing out on something that truly seems magical.
