The Vitamin D Council is sponsored by two supplement makers, a home VitD
test kit manufacturer, and a tanning bed company. The Cannell family
also market their own line of a variety of D supplements, branded "Dr
Cannell's".
I can say that I've been deeply suspicious of the claims of the D
testing and supplement industry for quite a while now, and the Vitamin D
Council has done nothing to assuage those suspicions.
