I am surprised to hear people having issues with the Ameda pumps.  I have
been selling & renting them for years and never had any issues with them.
Both the Purely Yours & the Elites (I also have a couple of the Lact-Es).  I
have never had any moms loose a supply or not have it build up a supply.  I
have had many moms prefer them over medela's pumps because they can control
suction & speed separately and the flanges run a bit bigger in each of the
sizes.

 

Intersting to see all the variations in mom's experiences with different
pumps.  I am really enjoying this thread.
