I think you are right: there are no extra educ requirements for those recerting by exam. I am doing my 20-year recert this year and I have a non-medical education. The re-cert exam fee is $470 for USA. Deadline is Sun Mar 31. No exceptions. No early bird rate. Late Apps are NOT accepted.
