Hi,
I just received a grant to develop and execute a 16 hour lactation
training program for office nurses. I am in a large University
associated medical group, with many peds, OB/Gyn and Family medicine
offices, and I hope to train 1 RN from each office to provide advanced
lactation support, so about 20 nurses.
Do any of you know of such a curriculum? It would be different from Baby
Friendly because it covers anticipatory guidance for moms/babies
throughout the whole lactational period, so would need to include topics
such as solids, vitamins, illnesses, biting, weaning, etc, with a focus
on phone triage.
Thanks,
Anne
