I've recently attended AWHONN webinar on the "New Mandates for Reporting Perinatal Measures" and watching posts on Lactnet.
I've been an IBCLC since 1994 and an RN for 40 years. Even with this dedication, I have limited ideas how to collect the information for the Perinatal Core Measure 5a. I downloaded the tool kit of 43 pages (!!) from USBC. That in itself is pretty intimidating but no I haven't read it all yet.
If anyone else has an idea that has worked for them, would you mind sharing it?
Thrilled to support breastfeeding, a bit tired of the paperwork :) while trying to meet needs of our IP and OP Momma's.
Would love to hear other IBCLC's ideas/answers either via Lactnet or privately.
Thanks so much!
