Yes!  The medical community IS failing breastfeeding moms!  That's a given.  Now in my neighborhood, with the ACA the local Peds offices are doing their own lactation counseling/consulting cause then can finally charge for it and guess what?  The less referrals for me and more problems for their moms/babies bc the information and advice is horrible!  I do end up seeing some of these clients afterwards but I am sad for the ones who r set up for failure :(
