Hi, all.
I've been approached to teach some monthly classes regarding return to work
and breastfeeding for the employees of a local state university as part of
their health and wellness program. I have taught these before as outreach
for my WIC/Public Health position, so I have my curriculum and presentation
set, but this will be my first experience teaching for pay as a PP IBCLC.
I'm wondering what is a fair price for my time? Generally they last 60-90
minutes, and are very interactive. I don't want to shoot for the moon, and
I know it's dependent on living standards in my community, etc.
If anyone can email me off list and give me an idea of what is generally
acceptable in a situation like this, I'd love to learn from the voices of
experience!
