Wise ones, I am not in my office and cannot check my references. Can anyone
tell me if breastfeeding should be avoided when an toddler has mouth sores
from the coxsackie virus (hand, foot, mouth disease)? I *have* heard of
cases where the sore have spread to the nipple...
Is there a definitive recommedation?
If anyone has any quality online resources that I can reference, I'd really
appreciate it.
Thanks so much!
