Dear Lactnet Friends:

A local hospital banned free formula samples. This took years of
negotiating, mostly with some staff members who were resistant. When the
ban was actually implemented, there were no conflicts or complaints from
the mothers. All that fuss and worry was for naught.

The media have taken the topic and exaggerated it into conflict,  fueling
the fires of dissent. I wonder how many people here on Lactnet are
responding to blogger posts and media coverage?
