All great points to discuss, Margaret! Thanks for sharing.

Our hospital has a few soft-bodied dolls, but mostly the horribly big and stiff dolls that are not at all helpful for imagining snuggling a newborn up to nurse. I've asked for more of the soft-bodied dolls, but the hospital is citing Infection Control issues, stating that we need to be able to wipe down each doll after each use. Have any other hospitals stated this concern? If so, what do you use?
