I want to start out by saying THANK YOU so much for everyone's input. I really appreciate having a board like this with such talented and experienced women to reach out to!!!!
I saw Mom again and feel confident ruling out vasospasm and a submucosal tie. There's no reattachment and he has good lateral movement and peristaltic movement however, he does have a short tongue and still seems to be reluctant to really stick it out. At this point, I've thrown everything in my bag of tricks at this without success so I scheduled her for an OT feeding eval and want someone with more experience and knowledge to review the oral structures.
Baby does have a white line on the palate followed by a palapable bump. It's visible with a flashlight, and I'd not noticed it before. Any thoughts?
Thanks!!!
