I do have a small collection of pictures from clients. I got their permission to use them in presentations and to show other clients. They aren't excellent quality or anything, but good enough that when I am explaining tongue tie to a client I can show her a variety of pictures from past clients to give her an idea of what I am seeing.

Here's another question: do most lactation professionals maintain their own stash of photos for which they have permission from the subjects? Would anyone recommend I begin creating my own collection? It seems kind of unnecessary at this point when you can type "tongue-tie" into Google and see hundreds of pictures. I just wondered if that's something that other people routinely do. I can see keeping pictures of clients in their histories, with appropriate HIPAA guidelines followed, but I just don't know that it's necessary for educational purposes when you can purchase excellent professional photos.
