I especially liked the questions you crafted for a breastfeeding mom to use to evaluate a practitioner. Once I started contemplating a couple having issues while the mom was breastfeeding, I realized how precarious the situation could be. Choosing the right counselor to help guide the couple would be key, as we all know breastfeeding brings up many emotional issues in all involved.
I appreciate your insights. I feel much more directed and able to focus on the topic now. I am looking forward to delving deeper into this subject!"
You're most welcome! T hank you for your kind words and your interest in lactational psychology . "Precarious" is an excellent way to describe the situation when a mother needs to seek mental health care while breastfeeding. There is just no guarantee that she will easily be able to find a mental health care provider who is adequately knowledgeable about and supportive of breastfeeding.
Best wishes,
Cynthia
