I agree with Micaela (Ciao Micaela!) I doubt it will be a problem. In my three short years in Aviano, I never knew of any issues with breastfeeding in public and certainly indecency is not an issue. As a matter of fact, many Americans were appalled at the fact that on some beaches, the women would be topless. LOL! That said, Italy is a great place for families. It was not unusual to see toddlers walking around from table to table in one of my favorite restaurants. None of the patrons saw this as a "nuisance." If we were at a restaurant in one of the town squares--eating outside, our children would be out and about playing.
