Oh, YES they do know! Here is the reply I received from the CEO of Lamaze:
"Hello Marie,

Thank you for taking time to inquire about Lansinoh exhibiting at the Lamaze Forum in Nashville. The Lamaze Advertising Policy outlines the standards for advertising/exhibiting/sponsorship, and the standards are applied to the product being promoted versus the company. For instance, a company would not be allowed to promote infant formula, bottles, nipples or pacifiers, which are non-WHO code compliant, but the policy allows for the company to promote other products that are compliant. In Lansinoh’s case they were only allowed to show their WHO Code compliant products at the Lamaze meeting, i.e. breast gel pads, cream, diaper cream, etc. I hope this helps provide background on how the policy is applied by Lamaze, which may vary from how other organizations implement compliance with the WHO Code.

Please let me know if you would like to discuss this over the phone. You can reach me at the number below. I appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts on this matter.

 Many thanks,

Linda
