Hi Faith,

I'm originally from Puerto Rico and we eat a lot of yucca. I've never
heard of it used to increase milk supply. I've eaten plenty of it while
nursing and never felt an effect myself. My grandma says the most widely
used galactagogue in Puerto Rico is horchata made from sesame seeds, just
as an interesting fact :). I'll reach out to grandma about the yucca but I
think she would have told me by now, she's very pro-breastfeeding. If I
stumble upon anything more scientific than word of mouth I'll pass it along
as well.
