My approach would be a bit different than Jane's. I haven't found the haberman to improve a suck...just to provide calories for babies who can't feed effectively otherwise. And I have yet to see a baby who could use the Calma; not saying it can't happen, but the flow can be so overwhelming. In addition to suggestions in Cathy's excellent book, I would find a therapist who works with infant feeding issues, *and* who has attended Beckman Oral Motor training, while continuing to support mom.
