I use nitrile exam gloves and I wash them before I do an oral exam.  I know some people use finger cots but I have been unable to find nitrile finger cots that are made for exam use.  All the ones I've found are for handling electronics.

I'm still not satisfied with my choice.  I do not like vinyl gloves because I do not trust the plasticisers in the gloves but I'm not certain that nitrile is much better.
