She certainly may produce milk on the affected side. Probably by now 
noticing changes that say milk is there.  Surgery and/or radiation may 
inyerfere with milk getting out, but she needs to at least try.  Had a mom 
once who had nasty surgery on one breast for abcess.  With subsequent babies 
she very obviously produce from the top half of the affected breast.  The 
bottom half filled - with no release it involuted, but the whole breast did 
not involute.  Pat in SNJ
