My neighbor has been recording the bloom date for a June berry tree for the
last 30 odd years (sorry I can't remember which of two species it was), it
has never varied by more than a week (I think My12thish was his average
date) over the last 30+ years),,, it was a full month early here in West
Michigan a little north of Grand rapids. Dandelions are in full bloom
right now, my pears were a few weeks early and are completely done now,
apples are in bloom also. My strawberries are about 3weeks early this year
so I've had the frost cloth out every other night, I've never had to cover
them for this long/many times so really not sure what willl happen to the
crop this year.
