I can speak for personal experience getting a biopsy while nursing 18 month twins, but not broader knowledge. It was a challenge getting that side to heal but I paid attention to helping it heal making sure it drained no lump formed, just watching it carefully. If I was nursing 1 toddler I would try to decrease the milk on that side a bit before the biopsy so I didn't have to nurse on it too much without it feeling engorged. I think that would help, for example if that side only was being fed on 1 or 2 times a day and one of those times was as right before the surgery as possible.
