I responded to a blog on msn.com yesterday about mayor bloomberg's announcement in New York City. All of the posters misunderstood the campaign, and even some on this list continue to misunderstand. This is all about marketing and advertising and about healthcare workers doing the sales calls of the formula companies. I responded to the blog with a brief explanation but I can't seem to find the site today. My response appeared under the screen name 'touch of grey' (it assigned me that name as far as I know). Mothers that are breastfeeding fine will not be sent home with free formula, coupons, or a bag with a formula logo, and nurses won't be wearing lanyards with a formula brand on it. That's it in a nutshell. Does not remove mom's freedom to choose.
