I just read through several days of digests to catch up and was reminded
when reading Jennifer's post about nursing triplets, of a limerick I heard
at a lactation conference on Cape Cod in 1998, as recited by Karin (gosh I
can't remember her last name!!) one of our entertaining instructors. It
had all of us laughing in the aisles!! Of course it doesn't offer a very
encouraging message for a mom about to nurse triplets!!
There once was a lady named Kat,
Who had triplets Pit, Pat and Tat.
It was fun in the breeding,
But not in the feeding.
Alas, there was no tit for Tat.
Priscilla Tansley RN, BSN, IBCLC (happy to have an excuse to share this
silly limerick!)
