What should a mom do whose now term baby is 7 wk(born at 33 weeks), has
been diagnosed with C.dif by the pediatrician. He was experiencing some
diarrhea, it got better for a week, then he moved to TX and had a few fussy
days, with fewer wet diapers, but continued feeding well. These 1st time
parents took him to the ER, where they gave him Pedialyte. Ugh. He is
back to nursing normally and the stools are back to normal with an
occasional soupy diaper. Is there anything else mom should do?
