Here is another twist for alfalfa. At times some batches of alfalfa and
white clover produce red urine in rabbits. At other times it does not. I
do not know if this has anything to do with red honey.
Our soils are carbonate, so much so that pouring vinegar or any other acid
on the soils causes them to foam. It takes several gallons of vinegar to
nutrilize one square foot of soil. Soil PH runs between 8.0 and 8.5.
