I've been working with this mom for a year now. BF 1st child 18 mos largely without problems. 2nd child born @37 weeks and it's been a struggle the whole way through. He was 12 weeks old before he would nurse consistently. He is now 9 1/2 mos old and has no interest in baby food. Mom's cycles have returned and she sees a SIGNIFICANT drop in production starting 4 days before her period and lasting through the 4 - 5 days of bleeding. She works full time and during that 8 - 9 day time frame she may be able to pump 1 ounce or less. Once her period ends, she goes back to pumping her normal 6 - 8 oz per pumping session.

I've heard of supply dropping with cyle timing, but never to this extent - any suggestions???

Thanks!
