I've always thought oroboobular disproportion referred to the typical small
baby, mom with large or even normal nipples. ( Murphy's law for BF: Mom with
largest nipples will have baby with smallest mouth.) These "light bulb
nipples" are something else again. The mom I saw years ago seemed to have a
double wide nipple on each side, almost like 2 thumbs side by side. A much
different sort of anomalie than simple oroboobular disproportion. I thought
the idea of RPS , especially just the nipple sounds promising for some of
these cases. The mom I saw tho didn't have edema of the nipples, they were
simply very misshapened. Pat in SNJ
