ANY milk is better than formula, but 6 month term milk will not supply all the needed nutrients. The mother of premies should be able to produce enough milk for her twins if she pumps appropriately. We use relative's fresh milk only if they meet all the screening criteria that would allow them to donate to a milk bank.
