At this time of year, I like to remember to thank the wonderful team of
volunteers we have who help our list run as smoothly and professionally as it
does on a daily basis. Let's give a "hand" to them all...
Hearty clapping from Brooklyn, NY, USA, where the snow is starting to
fall..:) I am fully convinced that a world with more breastfeeding families is
often a world with better connected, more mutually respected beings in it.
No it doesn't fix all social ills, but maybe for some it awakens and
supports a spirit of respect for interdependence that gets squashed so thoroughly
for some new moms. And as much as this list needs many to keep it going,
honestly, so do I. Being the voice crying in the wilderness of sleep
training for 2 month olds and lack of general respect for children, except in lip
service terms, is lonely work. The colleagues online and off are critical.
Peace to all around the world,
Judy, still clapping
