Depends on if you are talking about your **license** as an RN, or your
**certification** as an IBCLC.

The requirements for reactivating a lapsed license as an RN differ from
state-to-state; check the Board of Nursing website (it may have a slightly
different name) in your state of licensure.

As for IBCLCs, you have a little wiggle room if your certification is
lapsed for one year or less, but after that you must re-apply as though an
initial candidate.  See
