I have permission to post.
A mom of a six month old baby just discovered that her frozen milk smells like vomit when it thaws. It doesn't have the soapy smell or taste that is associated with high lipase. She has also found that milk expressed on Friday and stored until Monday smells bad too.
Her baby is willing to drink it but she wants some to know if there is some documentation available that the milk is still safe. Does anyone know of such documentation?
Does anyone know why this happens to some mom's milk? She mentioned that she read that fish-oil can cause this and she does take fish oil. Could that contribute?
