Dear Lactnet Friends:
At a lactation consultant meeting last night, the topic of the pinch test
came up. 2 of the lactation professionals at the meeting described how
their normally protuberant nipples invert during the pinch test.
Where is the evidence behind the pinch test? Is it just one of those things
we've carried along out of tradition and habit?
