I did something similar at a baby fair in our area. My main messages
were "baby knows how to breastfeed". I talked mainly about how babies
can find the breast and latch (and how tough births and drugs can cause
them to have a harder time the first few days), what to expect the first
few days, how to manually express colostrum and spoon feed if the baby
is drugged/sleepy/separated, how to know you need help, where to get
help if needed. It was fun, especially since it was a group of moms who
probably would not show up at LLL meetings, etc.

The owner of the shop described her clientele as women that are "terrified" because they don't know enough and are overwhelmed. They are having a day of bra fittings, nursing wear demos, and community support. It will be both pregnant and new moms attending.

I want to whet their appetite for BF, make them think, and introduce them to the support they have available...LLL and me, the LC. I have an outline all typed up that I will work to flesh out to be more in-depth breastfeeding classes. But for now, short, sweet, and to the point is needed.
