For the latest attack on breastfeeding see http://www.stats.org/stories/2011/Breastfeeding_leukemia_nov11_11.html from the Statistical Assessment Service - STATS. It calls itself "a much-valued resource on the use and abuse of science and statistics in the media. Our goals are to correct scientific misinformation in the media and in public policy resulting from bad science, politics, or a simple lack of information or knowledge; and to act as a resource for journalists and policy makers on major scientific issues and controversies." This organization has a long anti-breastfeeding history and its latest sarcastic and vitriolic article is no exception. We have enough challenges in improving the breastfeeding environment and certainly do not appreciate an organization negating us every step of the way.
